As you all know, we had pretty much decided that we would remain single after our divorces. We had had our chance and that was it. We were done! Well, God had other things in store for us. After meeting at Cutter's, we became friends for several months. We talked on the phone - a lot! We just got to know each other. We did get together once for a quick date at Chili's, but other than that, we didn't see each other for about 3 months - just the phone. Finally in January of '06, we met back up at Cutter's and have not been apart since then. We talked even more on the phone, went out on dates until we realized that we were falling in love with each other! After a few rocky months with the kids, everything evened out and we all realized that, hey! this is pretty darn good! We took it slow! We did not want to rush ANYTHING!!! After two and a half years of dating - we moved in together. We wanted to make sure we were going to be okay, ALL of us. That went pretty well, so on February 2, 2008 - on our brand new tritoon - Billy proposed!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, we don't want to rush anything so the wedding is set for May of 2009. We want to allow the girls to have their time to shine! Yes, Courtney is graduating High School this year and Billy is going to be a Grandpa - Ashley and Josh are expecting their first child in August! We did not want to take away from their time! Everything is good! We decided we needed to get married on Lake Texoma since that is where we say our relationship grew!
