Welcome

Jacob and I first met when we were in 7th grade. Our school was doing a magazine fundraiser and while going door to door in our neighborhood for some sales I ended up knocking on Jacob's door. His dad intrduced us but we didn't really start hanging out until the next year. For most of 8th grade we would immediately go outside and play basketball or football together after school. Towards the end of the year they way I looked at Jacob started to change and when he said he was going to New Mexico for a majority of the summer I tried my hardest to not be heart broken. Right before he left one of his friends asked for my phone number but instead of handing the piece of paper to him I handed is to Jacob :) We ended up talking on the phone every night for at least 2 hours. It drove our friends nuts but we never ran out of things to say. When he got back every night he would walk me home when it was time to go in and I would get so anxious just hoping that night would be the night he made it "official" (I soon found out he was just as anxious/nervous each night). About a month after his return he finally asked the question..."Would you like to go out sometime?" Now, 10 years from that date we will be saying "I Do." I will be blogging about all the fun happening in the final weeks leading up to the wedding, check it out by clicking the "Blog" tab on the left hand side of this page!

The ceremony and reception will take place at our local horse race track Emerald Downs. In the envelope with your invitation is a ticket to the track. This ticket is good for parking, a program and tip sheet for the race the day of the wedding. Races begin at 2pm and last to just before the ceremony. If you have never been I definitely suggest showing up to at least catch the last couple of races! The atmosphere is just amazing and the horses are beautiful! Kids under 18 are free and are more than welcome at the ceremony as well. Check out their website at emeralddowns.com! Jacob and I have a little surprise for the last race and once we know the exact time I will post it :) Guests can start entering the ceremony room at 7pm and the ceremony is set to start at 7:30. The reception will begin right after the ceremony in the second half of the room. To RSVP please email reiterwedding@yahoo.com with your name and number of guests. Please let me know if you need more tickets and I can get them mailed out. If you would like to bring a gift we are registered at Macy's or you can also donate to our honeymoon by viewing the registry on this page :) Just select "registry" in the drop down above.

Emerald Downs is super easy to get to and has plenty of parking!
