We met over two years ago when I went to play tennis with Jennifer's brother and a friend of mine. At the end of January he asked me to go dancing with Jennifer and her boyfriend. We found out we had a lot in common and really liked talking to each other. We knew that we wanted to get married soon in our relationship and went through the necessary marriage preparation for the Archdiocese of Denver. Shortly after we finished we definitely knew. Matthew proposed to me on August 26, 2007 in the chapel at St. Malo.
Our wedding will be on May 31, 2008 at 10AM. The wedding will be celebrated by Bishop Walker Nickless. Spirit of Christ is the church we will be married in because we consider that our home parish and want to share other sacraments with our future family there. Please come early to find seats so that the wedding may begin promptly at 10:00AM. The church address is 7400 West 80th Avenue; Arvada, CO 80003. The major cross streets are 80th and Wadsworth.
If coming from the airport take I70 west, toward the mountains to I270 and continue west. I270 turns into Highway 36, continue on Hwy 36 to exit Sheridan & 92nd. Take Sheridan South to 80th Avenue and go west, toward the mountains (right).Drive about 1.39 miles to Vance Dr. and make a left. Take your next immediate left into the parking lot.
Our reception will immediately follow the wedding in the Spirit Center of the church.
DIA is the nearest airport to come in to Denver, CO. The weather is usually warm in the mid to late 70's, it could be warmer (it is known to change often here) Please check weather.com before you leave (zipcode of the church location is 80003).

Above are the hotels which I have rooms reserved for Friday and Saturday, May 30 and May 31. Please call to reserve before April 30 to get those rates. The Double Tree hotel is the nearest to the wedding site and they have a free shuttle service to take you to the wedding and back.
There are many restaraunts to eat at in the area. Some that may be of interest are Papadeaux's (seafood), Chili's, Applebee's, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Woody's Pizza. They are all about five miles from the wedding site. There is an AMC movie theatre located at Hwy 36 and 104th Ave. with many other fun things to do including ice skating, bowling, and a game place called Dave and Busters. The Butterfly Pavilion is there as well (lots of fun bugs to see and spiders, as well as sea creatures and of course butterflies). The Westin hotel is across the street from this exciting place of entertainment and the Springhill Suites is just up the street two blocks.
