We met on September 12, 2004 at the Saint Sophia Greek Fest in Los Angeles,CA. After that day we started dating and getting to know each other . The engagement happened on a beautiful August day ,right at sunset in Manhattan Beach, CA. We both love the idea of sharing our cultures. A lot of rice, beans and Greek salad have been shared between the two of us in the past few months.

Our Wedding will be held at Saint Sophia Cathedral, where Christos' parents were married and the same place we met. The ceremony will be at 3:00pm on Saturday the 8th of July, 2006.The V.Rev. Father John Bakas will be conducting a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony and Karina's cousin Anya will sing, "Ave Maria".

The reception will take place at the Renaissance Restaurant , in the city of Glendale.This will be a good time to meet and greet the guests of both the De Frias and Sellis families, while enjoying dinner and dancing.

There are many local hotels and motels in the surrounding Glendale area such as, The Hilton, Best Western, Vagabond Inn, Regalodge8 and Rodeway Inn. Check their web sites for more information. LAX is the closest international airport and Bob Hope airport is the local airport. Both have shuttle services that will transport you to Glendale. The weather at this time of year ranges betweent 85 to 95F during the day and 70 to 75F during the evening.Bring a lite coat!
